| At this point, I'm becoming annoying, I know. The most dangerous situation is when a sufficient amount of gas volume is not vented quickly enough to suppress compressor surge. Sure, the stock recircs don't leak, but neither will a strong enough coffee straw - does that mean it can vent a sufficient volume of air quickly enough to mitigate the surge? Leaking recircs are a nuisance more than anything. It's the issue of volume and surge mitigation that can make or break your turbos.
